In Puerto Morelos, you’ll discover that most bars and restaurants offer a decent selection of both mezcal and tequila. For an even wider range of options, you can explore Chedraui, Super Aki, and La Europea liquor stores.Â
To truly delve into the flavors of mezcal and tequila, we recommend embarking on a formal tasting experience. The Koox Ich Kool Farm to Table Experience is a six-course pairing that includes mezcal, beer, wines, and cocktails. La Sirena hosts a unique Tequila University on their rooftop every Monday, providing an unforgettable afternoon of education and exploration. If you have a group of six or more, the owners of Don Mexkal and Osteria Barocca can arrange a personalized Mezcal Tasting at a location of your choice. It’s worth noting that Don Mexkal has their own brand of mezcal, and Blue Morelos has recently launched their own brand called Sabanero, available for purchase by the bottle or liter. In fact, we recently assisted a couple who ordered pints of Sabanero to include in their Experience Puerto Morelos welcome tote bags for their wedding guests.
