Fantastic Food at Único

Único Beach Club remains one of the most popular beach clubs in Puerto Morelos. One of my personal favorite things about Único is that they have great food and amazing service. One of my favorite appetizers there is the beet guacamole – isn’t it beautiful? Their menu describes it as guacamole “with pieces of beetroot marinated with sherry vinegar, Dijon mustard, green olives and roasted pumpkin seeds.” It’s a very generous portion, and its so fresh and gorgeous that everyone should try it!

Único Beach Club sigue siendo uno de los clubes de playa más populares en Puerto Morelos. Una de mis cosas favoritas sobre Único es que tienen una comida excelente y un servicio increíble. Uno de mis aperitivos favoritos allí es el guacamole de betabel, ¿no es hermoso? Su menú lo describe como guacamole “con trozos de betabel marinados con vinagre de jerez, mostaza de Dijon, aceitunas verdes y pepitas de calabaza tostadas.” Es una porción muy generosa, y es tan fresco y hermoso que ¡todos deberían probarlo!

Delicious Pizza

Chef Marcos Walfisch is known for his creativity, love of organic, vegetarian food. Único Beach Club offers some of his delicious vegetarian options, as well as others for meat or seafood lovers.

Here we’re showcasing 2 of the delicious options. First is the shrimp pizza described as pizza with “sautéed shrimp (70g) with garlic and cherry tomatoes.”  The vegetarian option shown here is the margarita pizza topped with “Olives and oregano”. These pizzas are individual sized, or perfect to share for a lighter snack.

El chef Marcos Walfisch es conocido por su creatividad y su amor por la comida orgánica y vegetariana. Único Beach Club ofrece algunas de sus deliciosas opciones vegetarianas, así como otras para los amantes de la carne o los mariscos.

Aquí estamos mostrando dos de las deliciosas opciones. La primera es la pizza de camarones, descrita como pizza con “camarones salteados (70g) con ajo y tomates cherry”. La opción vegetariana que se muestra aquí es la pizza margarita con “aceitunas y orégano”. Estas pizzas son de tamaño individual, o perfectas para compartir como un refrigerio ligero.

Único has a pool

Único is a beach club, but did you know they also have a pool?  It’s a great spot to swim and play, surrounded by lush palm trees and vegetation. Parents can enjoy watching their children splash around from the nearby shade. It can also be a romantic spot to spend time with your main squeeze.

Único es un club de playa, pero ¿sabías que también tienen una alberca? Es un excelente lugar para nadar y jugar, rodeado de exuberantes palmeras y vegetación. Los padres pueden disfrutar viendo a sus hijos chapotear desde la sombra cercana. También puede ser un lugar romántico para pasar tiempo con tu pareja.

Refreshing Cocktails at Único

Único’s beach bar is one of the gathering spots for locals and expats in Puerto Morelos. Aside from refreshing, creative cocktails, they also offer live music at 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays that will help you thoroughly enjoy your day at the beach.

Los Inicios – The Beginnings

En un punto sabemos que este beach club no necesita presentación, es de los primeros en Puerto Morelos y los que llevamos mucho tiempo aquí vimos su evolución. Inició siendo una palapita “perdida” en medio de una playa enorme y poco a poco, con mucho esfuerzo, con trabajo constante pero sobre todo con mucha actitud y buenas vibras fue creciendo, un camastro por aquí, otro por allá, menú de comidas, algo de música en vivo y así sin pausa fue creciendo hasta lo que vemos hoy. Un club de playa con un amplio menú de comidas y bebidas de excelente calidad para que disfrutes no solo de la playa sino de sabores deliciosos y aunque es realmente muy difícil decidir entre todo, te presentamos nuestro Top 3:

-Ceviche peruano, wow!  que sabor!
-Sandwich de salmón, fresco y super sabroso!
-Una botana de camarón coco que te mejora la tarde.

We all know that Unico Beach Club doesn’t need an introduction. It is one of the first beach clubs in Puerto Morelos, and those of us who have been here for a long time have seen its evolution. It started as a “lost” palapa in the middle of a huge beach, and little by little, with a lot of effort, constant work, and most importantly, a positive attitude and good vibes, it grew. One sunbed here, another one there, a menu of meals, some live music, and without pausing, it grew to what we see today.

A beach club with a large food and drink selection with the highest quality of ingredients. Enjoy the delicious flavors – not just a day at the beach! Even though it is very difficult to decide these are our Top 3 items on the menu:

– Ceviche peruano (it’s a twist on the Mexican version – served with sweet potato on a bed of butter lettuce). Such flavor!
– Salmon sandwich on a fresh baguette
– Coconut shrimp appetizer
