El 15 de Febrero se llevó a cabo el primer gran evento del año, The Fives Oceanfront sirvió de locación para llevar a cabo Puerto Morelos Open House, este evento generó muchas expectativas desde el comienzo y realmente las superó.
On February 15th, the first big event of the year was held at The Fives Oceanfront. The event, Puerto Morelos Open House, generated a lot of interest from the very beginning and really surpassed our expectations!
Llegamos a la hora indicada y ya había mucha gente adentro e ingresando. El común denominador fue la alegría a pesar del cansancio. En la playa ya estaban todos los restaurantes motados en su Stand. Cada uno ofreció 2 platillos emblema de sus Chef y una bebida.
La calidad de los platos, la sonrisa al recibirnos, el servicio pendiente de todo, nos dió la seguridad de que estabamos en un eventazo que amerita repetir.
We arrived at the appointed time and there were a lot of people arriving and many already inside. The common denominator was happiness despite being tired. All of the restaurants were already set up in their stands on the beach. Each one offered 2 signature meals prepared by their chef and one drink.
The quality of the meals, the smiles when greeting us, and the attentive service gave us the security that we were at an event that deserves to be repeated.
Muchos de los restaurantes participantes son clientes y amigos de Experience Puerto Morelos es así que redoblamos la emoción y el apoyo por esta gran iniciativa.
Quedamos encantados porque amamos Puerto, y porque sabemos que poco a poco iremos teniendo más turismo y más eventos de esta magnitud pero a pesar de ser así la escencia puerto morelense estuvo en el aire, con los dueños de negocios emblemáticos, con la música en vivo a cargo de representantes de la música Puerto Morelense, como son Rocky, Fito, Charly, Anuska.
Many of the participating restaurants are clients and friends of Experience Puerto Morelos, so we were even more enthusiastic about supporting thiss great initiative.
We were enchanted because we love Puerto and because we know that little by little we will have more tourism and more events of this magnitude. But despite the grandness of the event, the essence of Puerto Morelos was in the air, with the owners of iconic businesses and live music brought to us from representatives of the Puerto Morelos music scene, such as Rocky, Fito, Charly, Anuska.
Hubo más de 450 personas que gozaron de todos los platos y bebidas y que también bailaron al Ritmo de nuestros queridísimos Tree Funkers.
Además de recibir a los representantes de la Canirac, al secretario de turismo de Puerto Morelos y con mucho orgullo a la Presidenta municipal, Blanca Merari. Muchas personas llegaron de Cancún y Playa del Carmen para disfrutar del evento y de la gastronomía de Puerto Morelos. Estamos seguros que este es solo el puntapié inicial para seguir invitando a todos los turistas a visitarnos y gozar de la variedad de restaurantes que ofrece. Además de ser el primero de esperamos muchos eventos más de este nivel y con el sello de nuestro querido Municipio.
Y ojalá más restaurantes se sumen a estas iniciativas para seguir mostrando al mundo todo lo que Puerto Morelos ofrece.
There were more than 450 people who enjoyed all of the food and drinks and also danced to the rhythm of our beloved Tree Funkers.
Aside from attendance by representatives of CANIRAC (Mexican National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry), the Puerto Morelos Tourism Secretary, and with great pride the Municipal President, Blanca Merari. Numerous people came from Cancún and Playa del Carmen to indulge in the event and the culinary experience of Puerto Morelos. We’re sure that this is on the very beginning and that more events will invite tourists to visit us and take advantage of the variety of restaurants we have here. We’re excited about having more events like this in our municipality that represent what we love about our community.
Hopefully more restaurants will join in with these events to continue showing the world all that Puerto Morelos offers.
Luego de probar todos los platos (solo por nombrar algunos, tacos de picaña, de chamorro, pizza, choripan vegano, tostadas de pulpo, hamburguesas y mucho más) y saludar a todos los conocidos que asistieron culminamos la noche bailando con la alegría de saber que Puerto Morelos está unido y crece de una buena manera y que siempre que haya eventos de este estilo serán un gran éxito y un gran avance para el turismo de este lugar, que ocupa en nuestros corazones una porción importante.
After tasting all of the dishes (just to name a few: beef picaña tacos, beef shank tacos, pizza, vegan choripan, octopus tostadas, hamburgers and much more) and greeting all of the people we knew there, we finished the night dancing with the happiness of knowing that Puerto Morelos is united and growing in a good way. We know that every time there are events like this they will be very successful and will help advance tourism in this place that holds such an important place in our hearts.
Experience Puerto Morelos is excited to support the first Open House Puerto Morelos with the participation of 10 gastronomic leaders of our town in a one-day event at The Fives. The event will take place on February 15th at 6:00 p.m. Ten restaurants will present their most emblematic dishes, there will be mixology and local artists to round out this not-to-be-missed event!

On Friday, January 27, XPM went to The Fives Oceanfront – Puerto Morelos for the press conference of the event Open House Puerto Morelos.
And with great satisfaction we saw the collaborative work between gastronomic entrepreneurs and the tourism secretary to bring Puerto Morelos closer to the world and, above all, giving it value as a destination for culture and food.

Este evento presentará la oferta culinaria de los restaurantes y bares invitados de Puerto Morelos. También reunirá a artistas de la zona que presentarán su música en vivo en la playa del Hotel The Fives Oceanfront.

El viernes 27/enero nos acercamos a The Fives Oceanfront – Puerto Morelos para la rueda de prensa del evento Open House Puerto Morelos.
Y con gran satisfacción vimos el trabajo conjunto entre empresarios gastronómicos y la secretaría de turismo para acercar Puerto Morelos al mundo y, sobre todo dándole valor de destino por la gastronomía.
Seguramente todos estamos de acuerdo en aquello que se le hizo hincapié respecto a que Puerto Morelos es un destino diferente a todos y que sus restaurantes, además de ser deliciosos y variados, mantienen la calidez y cercanía de que sus dueños estén presentes en ellos. Eso nos distingue, eso hace de Puerto Morelos un destino de #experiencias.
Con el motor de impulsar al municipio como destino turístico gastronómico es que se pensó el evento que se llevará a cabo el 15 de febrero a las 18hs. Donde 10 restaurantes presentarán sus platillos más emblemáticos, habrá mixología y artistas locales.
