2026 Puerto Morelos Recycling Dates
Puerto Morelos offers recycling services twice per month on Saturday mornings from 9am-12:30pm at the Sports Dome in the colonia (behind the library on Zetina Gasca – technically at the corner of Calle 52 and Chaca).
Remeber that they only accept clean, dry items and they must be separated by type (glass, paper, plastic, etc).
Plastics – PET bottles #1, HDPE plastics #2, Plastic bags, Bottle caps
Metals – Scrap (metal), Bottle caps, Aluminum, Alkaline batteries, Electronics
Paper and cardboard
Glass containers
Tetra Pak cartons
Energy-saving light bulbs
Vegetable oil
Published dates are as follows (and may be subject to change due to weather):
September 5th and 19th
October 3rd and 17th
November 7th and 21st
December 5th and 19th
